GREAT Economic Development Program

This program aims to increase each community’s local economic growth by creating and sustaining local jobs by focusing on private sector development and strengthening local business support services.

The Outback

The program takes a holistic approach to achieve the following goals:

  1. Reduce revenue leakage from the community
  2. Increase access to outside markets through partnerships
  3. Increase participation in small to medium sized business
  4. Facilitate access to finance and investment, including ADBT Small Business Finance
  5. Provide high levels of business support and mentoring
  6. Align strategies and resources of key stakeholders
  7. Develop local leaders to ensure sustainability
